This charm pairs a cheerful God of Wealth with a carved money bag decorated with a fish motif — a traditional symbol connected with abundance and the wish for life to always have “something left over.”

I chose soft dusty-pink carvings for this piece and worked them into deeper berry and wine tones, adding natural stone beads, a textured seed bead and tiny warm-coloured accents. The long blush tassel keeps everything soft and slightly nostalgic, while the little flashes of red and gold give it just enough warmth.

There are quite a few traditional lucky symbols tucked into this small piece, but I wanted the finished charm to feel less like a formal ornament and more like a tiny collection of treasures gathered over time — something lovely to hang from a favourite bag, keep by your desk, or simply carry along for a little extra good fortune.
