Frequently Asked Questions

Are all Luckie Foo pieces one of a kind?

Yes. Every finished piece at Luckie Foo is one of a kind.

Nothing is mass-produced or made in identical batches. Even small pieces such as scrunchies are often created from leftover fabrics from other projects, so the same combination may never appear again.

For one-of-a-kind items, the piece shown in the listing is the actual piece you will receive unless otherwise stated.

Once it’s gone, I may make something with a similar feeling someday — but never an exact copy.

Do you accept custom orders?

No, Luckie Foo does not accept custom orders or made-to-order requests.

The materials I work with are often available only in very limited quantities, and natural stones, handwoven fabrics and naturally dyed materials can never be guaranteed to look exactly the same.

Rather than promise something I may not be able to recreate exactly as requested, I prefer to create freely with the materials I have and offer each piece once it is finished.

Can local customers (Perth, Australia) pick up their orders in person?

Yes, but local pickup is only available on my market stall days. Unfortunately, I’m unable to offer in-person pickup on regular days.

Market dates and locations will be announced on my Instagram (Luckie_foo), so please follow along for the latest updates.

If you’re local, you’re always very welcome to come by, say hello and find me at the market! ♡

Are your stones and crystals natural?

Yes. Where an item is described as natural stone, I use natural materials such as jade, agate, tourmaline, quartz, crystals and other stones as stated in the listing.

Natural inclusions, mineral lines, colour variations and small imperfections are normal. For one-of-a-kind pieces, the stone you see is the stone you will receive.

Why are there variations in handmade fabrics?

Many Luckie Foo textiles are hand-spun, handwoven, plant-dyed, persimmon-dyed or botanically printed.

Uneven fibres, slubs, small traces of plant material, variations in weave, colour and texture are natural characteristics of these materials and processes — not something I try to hide or make factory-perfect.

Will plant-dyed fabrics change over time?

Yes. Natural dyes may gradually soften or change in tone with use, washing, sunlight and age.

That gentle change is part of the character of naturally dyed textiles. Following the care instructions will help preserve them for longer.

Will colours look exactly the same as on my screen?

I photograph my pieces as accurately as possible, but colours may vary slightly depending on lighting and individual screen settings.

Can I reserve an item?

Items are generally available on a first-purchased basis. Because every piece is one of a kind, I cannot guarantee that something similar will be available again once it has sold.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Please contact me within 6 hours of placing your order if you need to cancel or change it.

After 6 hours, change-of-mind cancellations, returns and exchanges are not accepted. This does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Please see the Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

How quickly will my order be shipped?

Orders are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days.

Australian orders are currently shipped via Australia Post (AusPost). Tracking information will be provided where available.

Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?

International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties, taxes or customs charges depending on the destination.

Where these charges have not already been collected at checkout, they are generally the recipient’s responsibility.

Please see the Shipping Policy for full details.

Why did I receive a little extra item?

Sometimes I add a small surprise while packing your parcel — simply a little 福 from me to you. ♡

It may be something I made, a small accessory, a clearance piece or occasionally something a little more valuable. Gifts are completely random, cannot be requested or selected, and their type, quantity and value may vary between orders.

They are complimentary surprises and are never a guaranteed part of an order.

What if my parcel arrives damaged?

Please keep the item and all original packaging and contact me as soon as reasonably possible.

Photos, video or other evidence may be requested so I can assess what happened. Please see the Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

Can I return something because I changed my mind?

After the 6-hour cancellation period, change-of-mind returns and exchanges are not accepted.

Please carefully review all photographs, measurements, materials and descriptions before purchasing. Your rights under applicable consumer law are not affected.

Who is behind Luckie Foo?

Luckie Foo is a small independent shop run by me, Michelle, in Perth, Western Australia.
