God of Wealth & Gold Ingot Charm | Hand Knotted Natural Stone Tassel Pendant
In Chinese tradition, the God of Wealth — Caishen (财神) — is welcomed as a symbol of prosperity, good fortune and abundance. For this piece, I paired his cheerful little figure with a carved yuanbao (元宝), the traditional gold ingot once used in ancient China and still a familiar symbol of wealth and good luck today.
I kept the colours soft and warm: creamy stone, touches of honey yellow and earthy brown, finished with a long tassel in ivory and golden tones. Rather than making it overly bright or ornate, I wanted it to feel like a small old-fashioned talisman — something quietly lucky that can hang from a bag, keys or somewhere close to you.
The tiny Caishen is probably my favourite part. He looks rather pleased with himself, as though he already knows something good is on its way.
Please note: Natural stones may contain variations in colour, texture, inclusions and markings. These are part of their natural character rather than flaws. All measurements are shown in the photos. This is a one-of-a-kind finished piece — only one available.
